How To Add Someone to Your Costco Membership
Costco memberships allow primary members to add household members to their card free of charge. It is also possible for business members to add additional members to their business membership for an additional fee.
To add someone to your Costco membership, follow these simple steps:
- Navigate to Costco.com and sign in to your account
- Head to the Account Details section of your Costco account page
- You can add members to your household in this section
- The household member can pick up their own Costco card at any Costco membership counter

How Many Members Can Be On A Costco Business Membership?
If you’re a Business membership holder, you may add additional members to your card by paying a fee. The annual fee for each additional card is $60 plus tax.
Up to six additional members can be on a Costco Business membership. Each additional membership will cost $60 annually. Each of these additional memberships comes with a free household card.
This means that a Costco Business membership can potentially cover up to 14 people (The primary holder, their household member, six additional members, and their household members).

Can I Remove Someone From My Costco Membership?
It is possible to remove someone from your Costco membership. The household member details can be changed at any time from your account details page. You can also change this information in-person at the Costco membership desk, or by phone at 1-800-774-2768.
