- The sender number is not visible, instead you find a generic name such as “Delivery”.
- The phone number starts with a a country prefix outside of an expected territory (e.g. +235).
If your text message includes any of the above, DHL advises you to take a screenshot of the suspicious SMS and send to [email protected], include the suspicious phone number in the message.

You can use DHL’s Track Your Parcel page at anytime in the shipping process to see where your package is.
You need the shipment number and the receiving zip code in order to check where your parcel currently is. From there, you will know exactly when your package will arrive.
How Often Does DHL Update Tracking?
DHL’s system is automatic, meaning that if your parcel gets scanned, it will be reflected in the tracking information instantly.
So it isn’t a matter of ‘how often’ they update their information, but when your package has a change of status.
