Food Lions has quite a reputation in the South and while most of their stores don’t offer senior discounts, you might find that they are available at Hannaford, which is one of the brands under the Food Lion banner.
There you will be able to get 5% off the whole purchase if you are 62 and older every Tuesday, however, there aren’t many Hannaford stores and they are only available in Maine.
ShopRite
This grocery store will allow customers 55 and older to purchase items at 5% off every Tuesday, so if you are around Connecticut, New Jersey, or New York, you might want to keep your eyes peeled for this one.
Fry’s Food
If you are in Arizona, Fry’s Food will definitely offer a good discount for your purchase, giving 10% off every first Wednesday of the month to people 60 and older.
Concord Food Co-Op
This is one of the grocery stores that will offer some of the best discounts to seniors, getting up to 15% off every Tuesday and Sunday, however, the customer needs to be the owner of the card and fill out an application to be eligible for the discount.
This discount is available for customers that are aged 62 and older, and they’ll be able to enjoy these benefits in New Hampshire. Unfortunately, there are only two stores in the US.
Discount Drug Mart
This is a great place in Ohio to get senior discounts, as they not only offer 10% off groceries but also 20% off every health and beauty item, as long as they are Discount Drug Mart Brand.
These offers are for customers aged 60 and older, and they can enjoy these benefits every first Wednesday of the month.
Fortunately, there are 130 stores in Ohio, so chances are there is one fairly close to you.
Hy Vee
While not very well known, this chain is available in South Dakota, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois, and there is no doubt that those 250 stores are busy with customers.
There you will be able to get 5% off your purchase if you are 55 or older, so go to one of their stores on Wednesdays so you can get that discount!
