Many grocery stores and supermarkets offer some sort of loyalty program or rewards that allow their customers to get cash back, free services, or special discounts, so with Aldi being as cheap as it is, can you put a loyalty program on top?
Let’s find out…
Does Aldi Have a Loyalty Program?
Unfortunately, Aldi does not offer a loyalty program, but, and this is a very big but, they do have a lot of ways that allow for cheaper grocery shopping. Aldi is one of the most budget-friendly grocery stores, so it’s lack of a loyalty program is forgivable considering how much money they save their clients on a regular basis.

What Does Aldi Offer to Save Money?
Aldi has good quality products, probably not the best in the world, but very good, and the reason they are not the best is probably due to their price, however, this quality-price balance that Aldi manages to achieve is probably the reason they are so popular today, but how do they manage to do it and why don’t they need a loyalty program?
Aldi has products that are cheaper than most supermarkets and grocery stores, this also includes less operational costs and $2 dollar trolleys which customers can return and get their $2 back.
On top of that, Aldi stores are filled with deals and especially low-priced products.
The point that Aldi makes is that customers don’t really need a special loyalty program or rewards, why? Because rewards take a lot of time and a lot of money, and while it does make sense from a marketing and business strategy point of view, the real solution for customers is just to directly offer better prices to everyone.
Does Aldi Have Club Card?
No, Aldi doesn’t offer its customers a club card or a reward card, according to the official Aldi website:
Because ALDI focuses on providing high-quality food and everyday low prices to all of our customers, we do not offer rewards or rewards cards. However, you can browse our Weekly Specials to save even more money during your next shopping trip at ALDI.
It’s also safe to say that yes, those weekly specials are more than enough, given Aldi’s naturally great low prices.
How to Get an Aldi Savers Card
Aldi doesn’t have a savers card, at least not everywhere. The closest thing you might find to a card that allows you to save and get more out of your purchases is the Aldi Christmas Savings Card, however, this is not available in the US.
For some reason, this card is only available in Ireland, so if you want to get something similar in Aldi US, you’ll have to settle with their great prices and maybe get the app to help you keep track of deals.
Since customers won’t be able to get a special savers card, you might want to check out these tips to get a hold of deals and save some money as an Aldi customer.
Download the App
Aldi has lots of deals and low prices on many products, but sometimes it’s hard to keep track of all the little ways you can save your money, that’s why we recommend you download the app so you can have the following information:
- Weekly Aldi Finds
- Weekly Ads
- Store Locator
- Latest low prices
- More
You can download the app by going to the App Store or Google Play, typing “ALDI” and installing the app.
Savers Tags
So, there aren’t any savers cards but there are savers tags, which in the end serve the same purpose, providing customers deals and lower prices.
These are tags that Aldi assigns to some products in order to let customers know that they have a special discount, but they also organize these discounts with colors, so let’s see what each color means.
Yellow with Black Print
You’ll find both regular and seasonal items under this sign, so if you want to know if an item is seasonal or not, you might want to ask at the store.
Yellow with Black Print and Blue Flag
These are new items in stock.
Yellow with Red Print
These are the items with the lowest price tag in the store, mostly due to being on clearance.
White with Red Print
These are Aldi Finds, limited time only, they may last a few weeks or a few days, so you better act fast if you want to purchase one of these items.

Conclusion…
Aldi doesn’t have a loyalty program or a special savings card, but there is no need to worry, Aldi doesn’t really need those strategies as they already offer plenty of deals and low prices to accommodate their customers.
Aldi believes that most of the time, these savings and loyalty programs don’t really live up to expectations, as they require customers to spend a lot of money in order to get something back, so what better way to offer better prices than just doing it and offering it to every customer?
