Does Sam’s Club Install Batteries For Free?
Sam’s Club Tyre & Battery Centre Services include the installation (and checking) of batteries at no charge – providing you possess a paid Sam’s Club membership. There are other conditions attached to this service:
- The service applies to new automotive batteries purchased from Sam’s Club
- The service includes removal of the old battery, installation of new battery, and NOCO corrosion treatment
- The service is available on most passenger vehicles and light trucks.
- The service is not available on batteries connected in series/parallel and/or vehicles that require extensive labor.
Sam’s Cub also offer a no charge battery check, but again, you must be a paid member of the Club. This service includes the testing of a battery regardless of where it was purchased, and all customers are provided with a printout of the test results.

How Much Is It To Join Sam’s Club?

Club membership is the basic membership and costs $45 per year. The Plus membership is $100 per year and both memberships come with associated benefits, rewards, and perks.
