There are a few differences between an Amazon customer’s account a seller’s account and an Amazon Web Services account, one of them is that you don’t need an account number for a customer’s account, you only need your email, password, and phone number in order to use your account and access all the features it has to offer.

What Is My Amazon Account Number?
If you’re a regular Amazon customer, you don’t have an Account Number. Your Amazon account is only associated with your email address.
However, for Amazon Web Services (AWS) accounts, your Amazon account number is on the top right corner of the screen, right below your account name. When you log into your AWS account, click on Support Center, and you’ll see your account number below your navigation number.

Amazon Account Number
If you are a seller at Amazon, you will need an account number as a way to verify that you are indeed a seller. Another name that this number gets is a Seller’s Token, which makes sense as this is basically like a badge.
This also applies to AWS, which is a cloud computing platform working as a subsidiary of Amazon. These accounts also need an account number for the same reason.
So if you are a customer you don’t need to worry about any of this, but if you have one of these types of accounts then you need to know how to get access to this number, and know that it’s an important part of your verified account.

How Can I Find My Amazon Account Number?
You’ll need an Amazon account number for two different accounts, so let’s review each one so you’ll know which steps to follow in order to find and see your number.
Amazon Web Service account number:
If you want to get your AWS account number, follow these few steps:
- First, you’ll have to sign in to the AWS Management Console with your IAM username
- Then, check the top navigation bar and select “Support”, from there go to “Support Center”
- And that’s it, you’ll be able to see your account number or AWS account ID located below the top navigation bar
Amazon Seller Number
If you are an Amazon seller and you need to have access to your account number follow these steps:
- If you want to see your Amazon seller’s account number or merchant token, go to Amazon’s seller central and log in to your account
- Now click on “Settings” in the top right corner, then click on Account Info, there, you’ll be able to click on “Your Merchant Token”
- And just like that your amazon account number, also known as merchant token, will show up on your screen
Is There An Amazon Prime Account Number?
No, regular customers don’t have an account number. As a normal account, it’s simply verified through your email account.
Amazon Web Services is completely separate from standard Amazon prime accounts.
If you have an Amazon seller’s account or an AWS account, then you’ll be given an Amazon account number that will identify you to Amazon, so if you ever need access to this number you just need to log in to your account and follow the steps so you can see it.
