Aldi Bone Broth Nutrition

Bone broth tends to be very nutritious in general, but what can we say about Aldi’s bone broth?

Aldi’s bone broth has a very similar nutritional value to other brands in the market. It often provides a good amount of protein, followed by fat and carbs, without any fiber.

Also, keep in mind that making the bone broth yourself may be a healthier option, not just because you know where it comes from and you can be certain there are no additives or preservatives, but also because you can control every additional ingredient the broth needs.

If you consider including bone broth in your diet, you’ll see an improvement in sleep, hydration, weight management, and more.

If you want to try it, Aldi is a great choice to do so, due to its low prices and variety of flavors, and hopefully, it’ll eventually lead you to try and make it yourself!

Is Aldi Chicken Bone Broth Good?

Both Simply Nature’s broth and Chef’s Cupboard broth are good options, at a good price and serve their purpose as bone broth.

The one that has caught the attention of more customers is Chef’s Cupboard’s broth, mostly because it offers a few different flavors in order to be a bit more pleasing to the palate instead of just trying to copy a homemade bone broth.

Still, you should know that bone broth is not something to be overly excited about, it’s still basically a liquid full of nutrients from the bones left from different types of meats that will allow you to get healthier meals.

How to Make Bone Broth at Home

We know you probably didn’t ask but hey, it’s great to know how to make things yourself in case you can’t find bone broth at the grocery store, or maybe you just want to try the homemade way.

Either way, you should follow these steps if you want to prepare bone broth

  1. First, you need to fill a large pot with around  1 gallon of water, but it depends on how much you want to actually make.
  1. Then you should add around two to four pounds of animal bones to the mix.
  1. Once that’s done, you can then add salt, pepper, and any other condiment to your liking (try to keep it as natural as possible).
  1. Get the fire going and wait until it boils.
  1. Once it starts boiling get the heat down to a simmer, and leave it cooking for 12 to 24 hours.

Once you’ve followed all the steps, you’ll have a nice nutritious bone broth that you can use in a variety of ways to make your meals a little bit richer.
