But, sometimes, auto-renewals are extremely convenient. I know I won’t be parting with my Sam’s Club membership anytime soon, so it makes sense to have it auto-renew if that’s an option.

You can cancel out of (or disable) the Auto Renew Feature from your account information page. Simply:
- Sign into your Sam’s Club account and view the account information page
- Locate the Auto Renewal settings link under the membership header
- Uncheck the Auto Renewal box
- Sign out of your account
If, however, you want to enable the Auto Renew feature on your account:
- Sign into your account and check the auto renewal option box to update your preference
- A link to the Auto Renew Terms and Conditions will also be available here
- Select a default payment method (or add one) to your account using the Payment Methods tab

Conclusion..
Both of the Sam’s Club memberships have auto renewal functions applied automatically when they are set up. Although you will be notified of the auto renewal feature when you sign up, it’s an easy thing to forget.
Some members prefer this kind of convenience, but others don’t want to commit to a lifetime of automatically renewing membership fees.
However, it’s easy to disable the auto renew feature in your account. You just need to remember that you’ll have to do this each time you renew your membership – even if you are renewing your membership manually (or upgrading to the Plus membership).
