Does Taco Bell Serve Lunch All Day? (Lunch Hours, Menu, 2022 Guide!)

Apr 25, 2022 · Leave a Comment

When you’re hungry for a meal but don’t have time to cook (and wash the dishes), you would probably think of ordering from a fast-food chain. If you’re particularly craving Mexican food, then Taco Bell is the most likely candidate.

You’re a busy person and that means that sometimes lunch is a little late. Like, 4 pm late. Does Taco Bell still serve lunch at that time? You could opt for McDonald’s instead, but you just had that yesterday. So now what?

Does Taco Bell Serve Lunch All Day?

Most Taco Bell locations serve lunch all day from 11 am until closing on both weekdays and weekends, though the exact lunch hours vary by location. Some start serving earlier, so it’s best to check beforehand at Taco Bell’s Store Locator.

Taco Bell Lunch Hours

Each Taco Bell has its own breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours. Most of them begin serving breakfast from 7 am to 11 am and then serve lunch until closing. However, some locations start serving their lunch menu alongside the breakfast at 9 am.

According to Taco Bell’s official page, lunch typically starts from 11 am until 2 pm. However, we found that most locations serve their regular menu (lunch & dinner) all-day after breakfast. Based on our findings, here are the Mexican fast-food chain’s lunch hours from Monday to Sunday:

DayLunch hour
Monday11 am – Closing
Tuesday 11 am – Closing
Wednesday 11 am – Closing
Thursday 11 am – Closing
Friday 11 am – Closing
Saturday 11 am – Closing
Sunday 11 am – Closing

Taco Bell Restaurant Hours

Each location’s hours vary slightly. Some open at 7 am, while others serve customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A typical Taco Bell restaurant’s hours are as follows.

Breakfast: 7 am to 11 am

Breakfast & lunch: 9 am to 11 am

Lunch & dinner (regular menu):  11 am until closing

Most Taco Bell restaurants close one hour later on Fridays and Saturdays, while busy inner-city locations may be open until 4 am.

What Are Taco Bell’s Holiday Hours?

Taco Bell is open for most, if not all holidays except for Christmas and Thanksgiving. While the fast-food chain is generally open for every other holiday, they also open later than usual and close earlier than normal.

On the contrary, most Taco Bells close later than usual on Black Friday. Since the company is franchise-based, the franchisee ultimately decides whether to stay open on holidays and its opening duration. So, we recommend checking

What is Taco Bell’s Lunch Menu

The fast-food titan serves a diverse menu of mouth-watering Mexican-fusion foods after breakfast. There are over 100 menu items that you can view on the official page, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and salad bowls.

Every ranking list you find online has its own set of best lunch items due to the subjective nature of taste preferences. Generally, most Taco Bell customers buy these items from its lunch menu:

– Bean burrito

– Crunchwrap Supreme

– Cheesy Gordita Crunch

– Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco

– Nacho Fries

Other Hours in Taco Bell

Aside from usual restaurant hours, you should also know of Taco Bell’s happy hours and drive-through hours. Taco Bell’s drive-through hours vary from store to store, which you can check via the Store Locator. On the other hand, Taco Bell’s happy hour is fixed from 2 pm to 5 pm every day.

Taco Bell Happy Hour

Unbeknownst to many, Taco Bell has a happy hour dubbed “Happier Hour”. From 2 pm to 5 pm every day, customers can get any medium sodas and freezes for only $1. There are also plenty of discounts on other menu items available only within this time.

The Happier Hour promotion is valid for all forms of ordering — dine-in, drive-through, online delivery, and takeout. However, the promotion is also only available at participating stores.

If your local Taco Bell restaurant does not have the promotion, worry not! All stores have a recently introduced Dollar Cravings Menu with 10 popular menu items at $1. These items include the Beefy Fritos Burrito, Double Stacked Tacos, Cinnamon Twists, and Shredded Chicken Quesadilla Melt.

What Other Restaurants Serve Lunch All Day?

There is no shortage of fast-food restaurants in the US and worldwide. Many of them serve lunch all day after breakfast until closing. These restaurants include McDonald’s, Whataburger, Chipotle, Subway, Burger King, and Wendy’s.

Conclusion…

Taco Bell serves lunch from 11 am until closing. While it’s not all-day in the technical sense, it’s good enough for long-time lovers of the Mexican-inspired restaurant to enjoy its juicy burritos or tacos.
