Ingredient: 2 ripe avocados, 2 tsp of lime juice, 2 tbsp of chopped cilantro, 1/4 cup of red onion, 1/2 diced jalapeño with seeds (diced), and 1/4 tsp of kosher salt.
- Step 1: Cut the avocado into two and remove the pit
- Step 2: Scoop the flesh into a bowl
- Step 3: Coat with lime juice
- Step 4: Add salt and mash till it smoothens
- Step 5: Mix with the other ingredients
- Step 6: Taste and adjust the seasoning.

Is Guac At Chipotle Free?
Guacamole at Chipotle is not free unless you are ordering a veggie-only option. Meaning, if you order a steak burrito, you will have to pay extra for guac.
But if you order a veggie burrito (no protein!), guac is included for free.

Chipotle does offer free guac to rewards members but it isn’t with every order. Chipotle will give you 10 points for every $1 spent.
At 400 points ($40 spent) you can exchange your points for guac.
Also, new members get free chips and guac after their first purchase. If you aren’t a member, that’s the quickest way to get free guac.

How Long Is Chipotle Guac Good For?
If refrigerated, Chipotle guac is good for up to 3 days. Make sure to cover the bowl tightly and refrigerate immediately.
Guac (like avocados) are infamous for spoiling quickly. You can spritz some citrus juice over the top of the guacamole to help it last longer.
Also note there will be discoloration almost immediately due to oxidation, but that’s perfectly fine. Although not visually appealing, discolored guac is perfectly safe to eat.
