How You Can Use Your Apple Card Where Apple Pay Is Not Accepted
Apple Pay isn’t accepted everywhere. This is especially true for small businesses. Merchants may have a point-of-sale terminal that accepts contactless payments. To accept Apple Pay, some merchants may need to change their present setup.
And merchants may face increased costs because of this. You can pay using Apple Card in one of the following ways.
Where Apple Pay isn’t accepted, there are two options for making transactions.
1. You can use your Apple Card, made of titanium.
2. You can make use of the card number
Titanium Apple Card
In stores where Apple Pay isn’t accepted, you can use your titanium card (or your actual card). You can use a titanium card the same way as your other credit cards.
To pay with a titanium Apple card;
- Open the wallet app on your iOS device,
- Hit the more options button,
- Tap the Apple Card button, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Your card will be mailed much faster than you might expect, and postage is free
However, keep in mind that you can only earn 1% Daily Cash on every purchase when you use this strategy. However, remember that you’ll need to activate your new card every purchase.
Use Your Card Number
When you’re trying to buy anything online and Apple Pay isn’t accepted, you can use this option.
- Open your iOS device,
- click the Wallet app,
- tap the more buttons,
- wipe the card information.
- You’ll need to verify with your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID to see your card data.
- Fill in the blanks.
You will then see all of your card information, such as the Card Number, Security Code, and Expiration Date. You can use these details to make transactions where Apple Pay isn’t accepted.

Conclusion…
Del Taco does not take Apple Pay as payment. In addition, fast-food establishments do not take several alternative payment methods. Cash and debit or credit cards are the only methods of payment that are likely to be accepted.
It is a form of inconvenient experience for their customers, since we now live in an era of electronic payments, which are also incredibly safe.
Maybe Del Taco will provide more payment options like Apple pay in the near future. But they are just accepting cash and credit cards for now!
